SUMMARY:DICE N+ Electronics & Circularity Roadshow
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Electronics & Circularity Roadshow on 13 October at Queens University\, Belfast in collaboration with DICE Network+ \n– \nJoin industry leaders\, researchers\, innovators and policymakers for a dynamic roadshow focused on unlocking circularity across the electronics value chain. As demand for critical materials continues to grow and pressure mounts to reduce waste and carbon impacts\, the electronics sector has a unique opportunity to rethink how products\, components and materials are designed\, used and recovered. \n– \nThis event will explore both the inner loops and outer loops of circularity\, examining practical strategies that maximise value retention while strengthening resource security. Through expert insights\, case studies and collaborative discussion\, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of where the greatest opportunities – and challenges – exist in creating a more resilient and sustainable electronics ecosystem. \n– \nWhether you are developing new technologies\, designing products\, managing supply chains or shaping policy\, this roadshow offers a valuable opportunity to connect with experts across the ecosystem and explore how circular principles can drive innovation\, competitiveness and long-term resilience in the electronics sector. \n– \nSpaces are limited – reserve your place now!

SUMMARY:Women's Writing Retreat 2026
DESCRIPTION:Building strong professional networks and creating opportunities for new connections are central to the eFutures Women’s Pilot. Our latest Writing Retreat was hosted in Portugal and brought together a cohort of women researchers\, providing an opportunity to connect\, share experiences and develop relationships with others working across the electronics research community. \n– \nThroughout the retreat\, participants were encouraged to step outside of their existing networks\, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for future collaboration. Bringing researchers together in this environment allowed new connections to form naturally\, while strengthening a wider community of women across the sector. \n– \nAlongside this focus on networking and collaboration\, the retreat provided valuable dedicated writing time\, giving participants the space to concentrate on developing research proposals away from the competing demands of their day-to-day roles. Group discussions and peer input also created opportunities to share expertise\, gain new perspectives and support one another as proposals progressed. \n– \nThrough initiatives like the Writing Retreat\, the Women’s Pilot aims to help women expand their professional networks\, establish meaningful research connections and access the focused time and support needed to pursue future funding opportunities. \n– \nWe would like to thank everyone who took part and contributed to such an open and collaborative environment. We look forward to seeing the connections and proposals developed during the retreat continue to grow.
