Electronics & Circularity Debates in Belfast
eFutures was pleased to collaborate with DICE Network+ to bring together researchers, industry and policymakers at Queen’s University Belfast to explore how to better advance true circularity in the complex electronics supply chain.
The event was introduced by Prof Gosia Swadźba-Kwaśny and Beth McEvoy, followed by a fantastic range of speakers and panellists throughout the day, including a keynote from Prof Paul Meredith, Director of CISM, EPSRC Fellow and Professor of Materials Physics at Swansea University.
Discussions explored topics ranging from materials and resource security to extending the life cycles of electronic products and keeping critical resources in circulation for longer.
The afternoon sessions, facilitated by Michelle Dolan and Patricia Flanagan, gave participants the opportunity to work together and explore potential circular economy solutions.
