eFutures aims to build the UK’s semiconductor community with the aim of enhancing rich engagement and good relationships in the ecosystem. Bringing the community together to enhance positive discussions and collaborations.
We are enabled to deliver a thriving semiconductor R&D ecosystem building on this rich engagement from the community with the voice of academics directly contributing to the development of our July 2025 UK academic semiconductor landscape report.
The eFutures 2025 UK Academic Landscape Report Recommendations provided recommendations co-created with an expert Advisory Group, informed by the analysis of the novel and extensive evidence base established during this project.
Building on the community engagement that informed the UK Academic Landscape Report, eFutures is committed to fostering ongoing healthy collaboration across the UK semiconductor ecosystem. By dismantling existing silos and working to bring the community together to have positive discussions, leading to collaborations that ultimately progress core technology areas and generate impactful and commercially viable IP.
