Semiconductor Focus Groups
To encourage deeper and more effective engagement with the academic community, a series of twelve focus groups were held across five UK locations. These took place as part of one-day semiconductor technology networking meetings, specifically designed to connect and engage the UK-based R&D community. A total of 169 academics participated in the in-person focus groups, contributing diverse perspectives from across the sector. These sessions provided a valuable platform for regional voices to be heard, facilitated knowledge exchange, and helped surface locally relevant priorities that will inform the national semiconductor strategy.
